It’s not a secret that I’m a huge fan of the Warrior Forum. I’m an addict, I admit that:) I spend at least 2 hours browsing it everyday. I find it useful mainly for three reasons:
1. It’s an incredible place to get some new ideas (or combine already working method with the new one).
2. To improve skill on certain topics (I do read every post on email marketing lately).
3. Get motivated (there are tons of motivating posts that can skyrocket your productivity).
So, lately I was digging a little bit more deeper into the Forum (gone back to 2008) and found a pretty powerful post, that was written by Steven Wagenheim. This method will be interesting to everyone who use Adsense or Clickbank. As Steven claims, using this exact same step-by-step blueprint that I will reveal you in just a second, he managed to make $500 in one day. So here you go:
Step 1 – Go to Google Hot Trends.
Here is the URL: http://www.google.com/trends
Google Trends: Oct 12, 2008
You will notice a TON of hot trends there, so there is plenty to choose
from. These are keywords, things and people that are getting mass
searches RIGHT NOW. It will tell you the last time it was updated. Right
now, as I am writing this, it was updated about 50 minutes ago.Step 2 – This is the part that takes a little research and most of your
hour. Look for items that you can monetize, either through selling a related
affiliate product (preferably Clickbank as it’s easy to sign up) or through
Adsense. You have to use a little imagination for the monetization part. For example,
right now, one of the hot trends is nascar results. Now, a lot of people
into nascar are into stuff like hats and shirts and other memorabilia. You
can monetize this either through Adsense ads that sell this stuff, or, if
you can find an affiliate program that sells this stuff (won’t be Clickbank)
you can sell a few items yourself. Take your time on this part of it because
if you don’t monetize this carefully, the next steps are going to be for
nothing. You also want to do a little keyword research for this to make sure you’re
not going up against a million sites. The newest hot trends, especially if
they’ve never been hot before, will have very few competing sites. These are the ones you can cash in on quickly.
Step 3 – Get a blogger blog and name it something that fits the niche. It
isn’t the best choice but waiting for your own domain and hosting will
not get you up and running quickly. So start with a blogger blog and if
you see it’s taking off, you can always move everything to your own
domain later.Step 4 – Write an article on the subject matter and put it on your blog.
If you are selling an affiliate product, make sure you have a link to it at
the end of the article.Step 5 – Go to sites like Digg and dig your article. Do this with as many
sites as you can.That’s it.
Total time for this whole thing is one hour, more or less.

My 2 cents: I know, if you are an older marketer you’ve probably already seen this, but still, this is pretty darn powerful stuff! Not only you can get shit load of traffic from hot trending keywords, but sometimes these keywords have very little competition.
My advice would be to create one general blog and update it every day. There’s no way you can’t make money using this method. Here’s even better idea – create a Youtube video! I had a video that got 100 views per minute from just one trending keyword! So yea, it’s working:)
Oh, and you can integrate twitter and facebook with this method too. Set it to auto tweet and auto post everytime you update your blog. There’s a big chance for your posts to go viral, because this is what people are searching and this is what it’s hot right now at this moment. So yea, give it a try someday.

This method will be interesting to everyone
Really? $500 a day? How about $20 a day? Got anything I can do that will make me $20 a day? There are a lot of people that would be happy with that! I’m talking about something people could do that would make them just $20 a day TODAY!
Hey Herbert,
thanks for your comment!
I totally understand you and I know how you feel.
This method can bring you $20/day. But as with any other method there’s a work involved.
Don’t think much, simply take action now and start blogging. Ping your posts, send some backlinks (bookmark on digg, stumbleupon, delicious, post on fb, twitter and other social networks).
The most important – stay consistent, never give up and you will start seeing the results.
Look, if Steve made $500 in one day, then why the hell you can’t make $20/day with this ?
Of course it’s possible!
I’ll post some more methods in the future, keep an eye on your email box if you are subscribed!
Good luck!
I saw the link to this site on the warrior forum. You just gave information on how to make quick money on the net that most probably would have charged for. Thank you very much for this information.
thanks.
You know how there’s related keywords to the hot trending keyword? Should those words be included in your article and titles?
I’ve tried some of these with hot celebrity women that are in the trends and get about 50 views a day but no conversions. I’ve tried dating and some porn affiliates but no real conversions. Any tips?
Thanks…
HobGoblin,
50 views a day is a good start. As far as I know celebrity niche is pretty hard to monetize. Adsense is paying very cheap for these kind of keywords.
You can try a few things with this traffic:
1. Collecting email addresses and then send them related CPA offers. There are many celebrity poll style CPA offers. I think that should convert. Or promote something from amazon.com that related to these celebrities (promote music CDs, DVDs, wall posters).
2. If you can get a huge traffic, you can also put a CPM (Cost Per Mile or Cost Per View) banners that pays for every 1000 impressions.
As for related keywords – you can include them in the article.
But it’s best to optimize for the exact hot trending keyword (put the keyword in the title, first sentence, H1, H2, H3, include bolded, italic and hyperlinked keyword somewhere in the middle of your article and so on..)
As Steven suggested in his method, it’s best to do a little bit of research before creating an article for the keyword. If using Adsense, then take a second to check the CPC (Cost per click) for that specific keyword. Or check if there is a related Clickbank or CPA offer that you can include.
Hope this helps.
Your article has been a great help to me. Is there a free software that can perform keyword research or how do I use keyword research manually? Any other site like digg to post the article?
Google AdWords Keyword Tool is great free tool for keyword research. You can also download a free trial version of Market Samurai.
There are lots of bookmarking sites you can use to post your blog post on:
Reddit
Delicious
StumbleUpon
Linked In
Pinterest
Twitter
Facebook
If you are building one general blog for this, you can create web 2.0 sites and link back to your hot trends blog. This will improve your rankings in google.
Great share Raimundas. You just brought in an idea(google trends) that i wast even thinking about. Also checked out some of your other posts and i love them. Thanks alot
Thanks man
I just love how you come up with ideas out of the blue, which are still specific and in-depth enough to follow. Never thought of combining Hot Trends and Adsense!
Wow !
I made 4000$ in 8 days yeah , Thanks for this method LMFAO.
Damn man!
Brilliant! I’m very excited to hear that!

,Am a newbies but are really appreciate ur opinin sharing. thanks
Great share Raimundas, maybe i must using google hot trends. Per day i have $14 so many.
I’ll run step by step your tips..
Thank you so much
Hi Raimundas!
To be honest I didnt think about using trends this way… pretty interesting, I need to give it a go!
best regards
The idea is great but there is one problem! The mayor of the topics are very general and the biggest competitors are already talking about it. Normally the hot trends are related into news (sports, show bizz, etc) and site like cnn, nbc, and so on alreadey take the notice and the better position in the google result. So it quite imposible to appear on top google result and have some traffic.
And if you find a topic very specific it could be searched months ago and all your competitors already write about the topic!!!!
It interesting but its not than simple!!!
Hey Jhon,
I agree that most of them are general keywords.
I’m just saying that sometimes you can find those golden nuggets that don’t have much competition.
I usually post methods that I tried myself. And this worked well for me in the past.
Actually, today it’s much easier to rank videos for those one time keywords. Maybe you should try that?
