Heeey! I hope you are doing well! I thought it’s about time to post another in depth method on my blog, for which, I’m sure, you would easily pay at least $10. But as always, I will save you that money
My friend had a great success promoting affiliate offers using this exact method. While I have been using it for my Adsense sites. And so far it works like a charm.
John Reese (a top gun internet marketer) build a list of over a million subscribers leveraging this traffic source..
The traffic source is… Free Android Apps!
Yup. You can easily create a free app for your Adsense/Clickbank/Personal blog or even your Amazon blog and put it on http://play.google.com.
Before you close this page thinking: “naah, Raimundas.. It’s not for me. I don’t have any clue how to create an app!”. Guess what? You don’t need to. There are many third party websites that let you to create an app in just a few clicks of a button!
Jeez, I can’t stress enough how easy and quick actually it’s.
Mobile is growing at an unprecedented rate. It would be simply unwise to overlook it and leave it just like that.
Google Play is now like Youtube 5 years ago. Some people even call it the new Google.
Smartphone users are actively seeking for the solution app using the search box on Google Play.
The traffic is HUUGE! But the best part for us marketers is that there are still less to zero competition even in the most competitive niches. If your website (app) provides value – people will download it, use it and click on your affiliate links. Period.
Anyone who use smartphones – use apps.
For example, an app of my make-up tutorial video autoblog gets over 50-100 new installs everyday! Without any promotion. And it’s only on Google Play, which is just one of many app directories on the internet where you can upload your free app.
So, everyday 50-100 new people see my Adsense ads.
But you know what is the best part?
Many of them return over and over again. They already have my app installed on their smartphones.
Here are the actual stats of the app:
So, now when you know the potential of mobile apps, let’s create an app for your blog, shall we? But first we need to create an Android Depelover account and a blog.
How to create an Android Depelover account?
You can create an Android Developer account here: https://play.google.com/apps/publish/.
In order to open up an account and publish unlimited amount of apps, Google will ask you one time payment of $25.
This is your ONLY expenses, but if you will take action, it will come back to you rather quickly.
You will need a specific website for your mobile app
Websites for mobile apps are a bit different. Mostly because of the shape of the phone and non-standard smartphone user habits.
Let’s talk about the Adsense type of website for Android app. The one I use myself.
First, I highly recommend to have an autoblog (self updating blog) or update your blog at least two or three times a week.
Because updates will keep your app users coming back and opening your app more than once.
My makeup video tutorial app updates every hour on autopilot. Girls are simply loving this and use my app over and over again because of the fresh new videos that are added every time they open the app.
Here’s the actual website I use for my app:
As you can see from the image above, the content is centered and more of a vertical shape. Ads are above the fold so that everyone could instantly see them when they open up the app. Simple and clean. No fancy stuff. It’s one of many WordPress themes that you can find over Appearance > Themes in your WP dashboard.
One app makes me ~$2-$3/day. You can create as many different apps (with different names) as you want for one website.
In the next chapter we will discuss on how to promote affiliate offers using mobile apps and then I will walk you through how to create an app for your blog in 5 min.
Clickbank website for your mobile app
A friend of mine averaging 1 to 2 sales a day with Clickbank. Somewhere around $30-$50/day. All he does is building an “informational apps” and adding his affiliate links.
There are many apps with pure content on how to lose weight, how to make money, how to save money, how to cure _____ and other similar “how to” apps in some very competitive niches.
The goal is to provide the information that users want and direct them to the affiliate link for more information.
The structure of his affiliate site is very simple. Check the image below:
Again. Very simple and clean. No distractions or other BS. The cleaner, the better.
Alright, so now when we have a blog ready, it’s time to create an app!
How to create an Android app for you affiliate/adsense blog?
To create an app for your site sign up to http://appsgeyser.com/ and click on CREATE APP.
With AppsGeyser you can create apps from any web content completely free.
It takes only 5 minutes to do that!
You don’t need to be a techy guy (or girl) for this.
Simply fill out the form with your app details and click on „CREATE APP“ button.
As soon as you create your app – publish it on https://play.google.com/apps/publish/ and other Android app directories.
After around an hour or so your app will be live on Android app store.
Depending on the competition and research you have done, next day or even the same day you should start seeing app installs and clicks on your Adsense ads/Affiliate links!
Remember, the biggest piece of the pie (money) always goes to those who think outside the box. Be different. Try various different angles and niches using this traffic source. Hint hint: dating offers for example
